New ASER Subscription Model!

Beginning in 2026, ASER memberships will shift from a fixed annual renewal date to a 12-month subscription that renews based on your join date. We will also offer multi-year memberships with discounted rates and early-career discounts to make renewal more flexible and convenient.

The Membership Committee approves applications monthly. Applicants will be notified of acceptance via email.

*To be eligible for the discounted member registration rate to the Annual Meeting, the ASER Office must receive your completed membership application on or before the early-bird meeting registration deadline

Membership Types:

Active Member – $399.00
Active Member, Active-Duty Military – $199.00

Shall be a practicing radiologist with an interest in emergency radiology, whose credentials are acceptable to the Membership Committee.

Applicants must provide appropriate documentation to verify Active-Duty Military status to receive the discounted dues.

Associate Member, Physician – $399.00
Associate Member, Physician, Active-Duty Military – $199.00

Shall be scientists, imaging technologists, physician assistants in radiology, practice assistants in radiology, or non-radiologist physicians with an interest in emergency radiology, whose credentials are acceptable to the Membership Committee.

Applicants must provide appropriate documentation to verify Active-Duty Military status to receive the discounted dues.

Emeritus Member – Complimentary Membership

Shall be any Active Member or Fellow Member in good standing who has been a member of the Society for a minimum of ten years and, by reason of age or physical disability, has retired from the active practice of radiology.

International Corresponding Member – $100.00

Shall be a practicing radiologist with an interest in emergency radiology, whose credentials are acceptable to the Membership Committee and whose primary residence is in the upper-middle, lower-middle, and low income group countries as defined by the World Bank. The units for this measure and for the thresholds is current US Dollars.

1st Year Post Training – $199.00

Shall be a practicing radiologist with an interest in emergency radiology and within their first year after completing residency or fellowship.

Members in Training – Complimentary Membership

Physicians in training (residents, fellows, or medical students) who have an interest in emergency radiology. Members must renew annually and indicate their current stage of training to help the Society maintain accurate records and provide relevant member benefits.
